Import from China with Safety and Total Control

We find the supplier, supervise manufacturing, control quality, and deliver to your plant in Mexico. A single partner for the entire China-Mexico operation.

Process

Complete China-Mexico import process management

Six integrated stages covering from supplier sourcing to delivery at your plant. One team, one point of contact.

01

Supplier Search and Selection in China

Finding the right supplier in China is the first and most critical step. An inadequate supplier can result in late deliveries, off-spec quality, or contractual issues difficult to resolve remotely.

  • Research of manufacturers in China's main industrial clusters (Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong, Fujian)
  • Verification of the manufacturer's legality and production capacity
  • Request and evaluation of comparative quotes
  • Pre-selection of suppliers based on price, quality, production capacity, and export experience
  • Presentation of options with comparative analysis for your final decision
02

Physical Sample Procurement and Supply

Before committing to a production order, it is essential to verify that the supplier can meet product specifications.

  • Request for physical samples from the pre-selected manufacturer
  • Supervision of sample production to ensure they represent actual production
  • Express air shipment of samples to Mexico for your evaluation
  • Coordination of corrections or adjustments with the supplier if samples require modifications
03

Factory Audits in China

An on-site or virtual audit of the supplier's plant gives you certainty about their actual production capacity, quality standards, and labor conditions.

  • Production capacity audit: machinery, personnel, production shifts, monthly capacity
  • Verification of manufacturer certifications (ISO, CE, RoHS, and others depending on sector)
  • Evaluation of the supplier's internal quality control processes
  • Review of general plant conditions: warehouses, material handling, industrial safety
  • Detailed report with findings and recommendations for decision-making
04

Manufacturing Management and Supervision

The contract is signed and production has begun. Intertrade Logistics maintains active supervision throughout the entire process.

  • Tracking of the production plan against agreed timelines
  • Direct and periodic communication with the manufacturer in their language
  • Early alerts for production deviations, material shortages, or quality issues
  • Coordination of in-process inspections at critical stages
  • Incident management and negotiation of solutions with the supplier
05

Quality Control and Certification

Pre-shipment quality inspection is the last line of defense before your goods leave China.

  • Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) according to agreed AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) standards
  • Verification of quantity, marking, packaging, and product condition
  • Review of specific certificates required by the client or Mexican regulations
  • Coordinated laboratory tests when required (electrical, chemical, mechanical)
  • Inspection report with photographic evidence and release or hold decision
06

Transportation from China to Mexico

Once quality is approved and the product is ready to ship, we coordinate complete transport from the factory to your company in Mexico.

  • Factory → Origin port in China: coordination of inland transport to export port (Shanghai, Ningbo, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Tianjin)
  • Export procedures in China: export documentation, shipping space reservation, B/L management
  • Maritime transport: FCL or LCL depending on volume, with major Transpacific corridor carriers
  • Import customs clearance in Mexico managed by our customs agency team
  • Land transport in Mexico from the arrival Mexican port to your warehouse in the Bajío

Advantages

Why importing from China with a single partner is safer

Elimination of the communication gap

Language, time difference, and cultural negotiation codes in China are real barriers. Our team eliminates them.

Zero quality surprises

Pre-shipment inspection at origin is always less expensive than returning a container from Mexico.

Protection of your investment

We manage contracts, payment terms (letter of credit, T/T, etc.) and guarantee mechanisms that protect your money before releasing payment to the supplier.

Real response time

We know how long a container actually takes from China to Mexico. We give you realistic dates, not the optimistic ones the supplier gives.

A single point of contact

From the moment we search for the supplier until the cargo arrives at your plant, you have a single contact at Intertrade Logistics. No coordination between multiple companies.
